Strahlfoili is a clay-based formula containing: kaolinite, water, zinc oxide (ZnO), copper sulfate (copper vitriol), honey, and eucalyptus oil.

What can I use Strahlfoili for?
Strahlfoili is designed for external application to support overall hoof health and hygiene. It helps maintain clean, healthy frogs, manages hoof cracks and white line areas, supports deep grooves or hoof wall separations, and provides routine care for the sole.
How do I apply Strahlfoili?
Strahlfoili is quick and easy to apply!
- Pick out the hooves and brush them thoroughly (a wire brush can be used if needed).
- Apply generously to the desired areas of the hoof (sole, frog, or cracks).

How often should I apply Strahlfoili?
Apply topically to the sole, frog, or hoof wall cracks. For targeted hygiene management, apply once daily for 10 days. For ongoing maintenance and protective care, apply 2–4 times per week.
How long does it need to dry before putting the foot down?
No waiting time needed — your horse can set their hoof straight back down immediately after application.
Do I need to cover Strahlfoili with a vet wrap?
No. Strahlfoili works great for both barefoot and shod horses without any need for wrapping. If your horse requires a hoof bandage for another reason, Strahlfoili can safely be applied underneath to maintain cleanliness. It is also suitable for use under hoof boots.
Can I use Strahlfoili under pads and glue-on shoes?
Yes. Strahlfoili is an excellent solution for maintaining hoof hygiene under pads and package setups. It has been tested with common polyurethane materials and DIM on the market and is compatible with all modern shoeing methods.
Can I use Strahlfoili on competition horses?
Yes. Strahlfoili is safe for use on competition and racehorses.
We have had the product tested by equine regulatory compliance laboratories. Regarding federation guidelines (such as FEI and FN): questions are sometimes raised about eucalyptus oil, but the concentration used in Strahlfoili is well within safe, allowed limits. You can use it with confidence.
Can I use Strahlfoili for horses in 24/7 turnout?
