Updated: 3 October 2026
1. Seller, buyer and scope
The seller is Strahlfoili GmbH (“we”, “us”, “our”), a German limited liability company. Its registered office is in Borken, Germany (Commercial Register of the Local Court of Coesfeld, HRB 23923). For customer correspondence, contact us at Südring 41, 46342 Velen-Ramsdorf, Germany; aletia@strahlfoili.com; or +49 151 52476481.

These terms apply only if you buy goods through strahlfoili.uk wholly or mainly for a trade, business, craft or profession. They do not remove any protection you have if you are legally a consumer; separate consumer terms apply to consumer purchases. The product description and our Confirmation Email form part of your contract. Your own purchasing terms apply only if we expressly agree to them in writing.
2. Ordering and contract formation
You can review and correct an order before submitting it. Your order is an offer to buy the goods stated in it. An automated acknowledgement only confirms that we have received the order; it is not acceptance. We accept your order when we send an express acceptance email (the “Confirmation Email”), and the contract is formed at that point. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund any payment taken for it.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement. We may make changes required by applicable law, but will not materially reduce the agreed specification without your consent.
3. Prices and payment
Unless a product listing expressly says otherwise, business catalogue prices exclude applicable VAT and other taxes. The checkout will show the goods price, any tax charged by us, delivery charges and the total payable before you submit the order. The invoice will reflect the applicable tax treatment. Payment methods, payment timing and any credit terms are those shown at checkout or expressly agreed in writing. We may delay dispatch until any required advance payment has been received.
We will not increase the agreed price of an accepted order unilaterally because of a pricing mistake. If we cannot fulfil at the accepted price, we will ask you to agree to a change or, where legally permitted, cancel the order and refund payments for goods not supplied.
4. Delivery, risk, title and delays
The checkout or Confirmation Email will state the agreed delivery destination, shipping charge and delivery estimate. Please tell us promptly about a delivery problem by EMAIL. Unless a different shipping term is expressly agreed in writing, delivery is completed, and risk passes to you, when the goods are physically delivered to the agreed address and the carrier’s electronic status conclusively establishes that the delivery occurred.
Ownership of the goods passes to you only when we have received full payment for those goods and their related charges, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If we offer delivery to a destination outside Great Britain, the order information must identify before acceptance who acts as importer and who bears applicable import VAT, duties and carrier fees.
Neither party is liable for delay to the extent that performance is prevented by an event beyond its reasonable control, provided the affected party promptly notifies the other and takes reasonable steps to limit the effect. If such an event prevents delivery for 14 calendar days after the agreed delivery date, either party may cancel the undelivered part of the order by written notice. We will refund amounts paid for goods cancelled under this paragraph that have not been supplied. Rights and obligations relating to goods already delivered remain unaffected.
5. Defective or misdescribed goods
Goods will materially match their agreed description and any expressly agreed specification at delivery. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts an obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including the seller’s implied obligations as to title.
Please tell us within a reasonable time after discovering a suspected defect, describe the problem and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods. Follow our reasonable return instructions. Subject to applicable law and the agreed specification, we will arrange an appropriate repair, replacement, refund or other remedy where we are responsible for a defect or misdescription.
You arrange and pay the transport cost of returning goods, including goods returned for inspection following a defect claim, except to the extent applicable law requires us to bear or reimburse that cost. This provision does not exclude any other right or remedy you have for our breach of contract.
6. Voluntary cancellation and non-defective returns — business customers
You may cancel an accepted business order by emailing us within five calendar days after the Confirmation Email. This is a voluntary contractual right for business buyers, not a statement of consumer cancellation law. If goods have already been dispatched, contact us for return instructions and send them back within 14 calendar days after you give notice of cancellation, in substantially the same condition as received, subject to reasonable inspection.
You pay the direct cost of returning non-defective goods. We will refund the goods price after receiving and inspecting the returned goods; the original delivery charge is not refunded. There is no restocking charge. A reasonable deduction may be made only for loss in value beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods, to the extent the law permits and we can justify it. We will make any refund due within 14 calendar days after receiving the returned goods, normally by the original payment method. This voluntary right does not affect remedies for defective or misdescribed goods.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts either party’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of the seller’s obligations as to title, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing in this section limits a refund expressly due under sections 2, 4, 5 or 6 or your obligation to pay the agreed price for goods supplied.
Subject to the preceding paragraph, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, including any loss of profit or revenue that is indirect or consequential. This does not exclude a direct loss of profit merely because it is described as lost profit.
Subject to the first paragraph of this section, each party’s total aggregate liability arising from or in connection with any one order, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, is limited to the total price payable for the goods under that order, excluding VAT and delivery charges. Each party will take reasonable steps to mitigate its loss. Any exclusion or limit in this section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law, including the applicable reasonableness requirements for business contracts.
8. Notices, disputes and general terms
Contact us using the details in section 1 for complaints or order issues. Formal notices under these terms may be sent by email to aletia@strahlfoili.com or by post to the seller’s address in section 1. Notices to you may be sent to the email or postal address you gave for the order, unless you notify us in writing of a replacement. An email notice takes effect when it reaches the recipient’s email system, provided the sender receives no delivery-failure message; a postal notice takes effect when actually delivered. Either party may establish an earlier or later time of actual receipt with evidence.
An amendment to an accepted order requires both parties’ agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent lawful. Neither party may transfer its obligations under an order without the other’s prior written consent, except where the law permits otherwise. The contract is in English.
The contract and any non-contractual dispute arising from it are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between the parties, subject to any mandatory rule that applies despite this clause.
